Our work programme

Toi te Taiao: the Bioethics Council is:

• Set up as a Ministerial Advisory Committee
• Operates under its own Terms of Reference
• Reports to the Government through the Minister for the Environment
• Sets its own work programme and priorities
• Engages in future watch activities, including the Navigator Network.

Work programmes and meetings

The full Council meets about every two months. (See the Council diary for meeting dates and minutes from Council meetings for records of the meetings.)

Smaller working groups are established from time to time to progress our work programme in specific areas.
